About Me
My name is James Keogh and I am an Experience Designer. I am currently undertaking a MSc in Interactive systems: User Experience in Edinburgh Napier University. Over the past year I have completed all required modules and I am finishing my dissertation at present.
My study has been immensely rewarding providing me with an in-depth knowledge into the theories behind the psychology of interactivity and user behavior, and the ability to research and manage interactive projects. I have an extensive background in visual communication design from working as a graphic designer prior to my MSc.
How I can help you
I strive to incorporate the user centred design process and business strategy acumen to take projects from their initial conception right through to completion. While undertaking vigorous user and market testing throughout the process, I ensure that the final product design offers the intended experience
targeted from the beginning. I am committed to assessing at what degree the products fulfil their intended need/desire and to capture the tradjectory of experiences the users have been subjected to.
My most recent project was to research and create a UX portal that would bring together the best information on user experience and interaction design from across the web to one central location. The UX Stream website can be found here.
